The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released the statistics of Active Shooting incidents from 2016 and 2017.  Their report shows that at least 50 incidents in 21 states were reported over the two -year span.  These shootings have injured 722 people and killed 221. The numbers reflect the amount of people injured but fall short of the amount being traumatized over these horrific acts of violence.
